World of Goo

by PATRICK PICHER

I don’t want to play anything else than World of Goo. All aspects of this game has a touch of “oh my god, I love it”. Visuals and sounds are like Super Mario World meets Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. There’s only one word to describe the gameplay… awesome!

To try out this success story from 2D Boy (they’re two), download the game trial available for Mac and PC.

Sparkle 3D: the first MMO for the iPhone

by SIMON BEDARD

TechCrunch talks about the first MMO to be developed exclusively for the iPhone (Sparkle, by Tokyo-based Genkii). Right now, the app can only connect you to a Second Life account, but the next generation (Sparkle 3D) will include a virtual world built from scratch. Is it me, but most of the iPhone users are not typical MMO fans?

RoboKILL !!!

by SIMON BEDARD

Crazy awesome animation, and pretty intense gameplay! The storyline is not brilliant, but RoboKill is an excellent Flash game. For NES-lovers, it reminds me of Super Smash TV that made my nights shorter circa 1990. Take some time to try it, and be careful not to develop a behavior disorder, like myself. Pffff!
